Irrfan Khan's 1st Death Anniversary: 'I Am Going To Die' Is What The Actor Said In His Final Days To Son Babil Khan
April 29 will always make our hearts heavy. The date marks the death anniversary of one of the finest actors of Bollywood - Irrfan Khan. The actor passed away after suffering from colon infection. He was earlier detected with a rare form of cancer. As his first death anniversary is approaching, his son Babil Khan opened up about his father's final days in the hospital. In his recent interview, Babil Khan spoke about how Irrfan Khan used to tell him that he is going to die.

To Film Companion, Babil Khan said, "I was there in the hospital, two-three days before he died. He was losing consciousness and one of the last things he said...he just looked at me, smiled and said 'I am going to die' and I told him 'No you are not'. He then smiled again and went back to sleep." Irrfan's wife Sutapa mentioned a quality of the late actor that she adored the most. To the same portal, Sutapa said, "I feel the most precious quality about him, was that he never pretended. If he is angry with you, or he is in love with you. Main thing is, when he is in love with you and says 'I love you', he did not pretend. He did not say it, till he meant it."

Irrfan Khan appeared in many critically acclaimed films such as Maqbool, Talvar, Paan Singh Tomar, Piku, Life Of Pie, Hindi Medium and more. He was an actor par excellence and he'll never be forgotten.
